Let's introduce ourselves!
Do you like badminton and you study in Eindhoven? Then be sure to come and take a look at the student badminton club "Panache" of Eindhoven! Panache has much to offer to its members, whether you're a beginner or an advanced player. Apart from badminton Panache also organises other activities outside the playing nights. Panache is a very nice and pleasant club for the badminton playing student in Eindhoven!
Training
On both Monday and Thursday you can join the training. The training on Monday is a technical training for both beginners and advanced players. The training on Thursday is a tactical training, that is a bit more interesting for competition players. But, if you are able to play badminton already and you do not only want to improve you technique, but also your tactical abilities and condition, don't hesitate and join the training on thursdays too!
Competition
Panache participates in the spring and autumn competition on several levels. Also there is a 2005/2006 competition team that plays in the 3rd class region of Brabant. After five years of `silence' Panache finally plays in regional competition again. Do you want to hone your badminton skills? Maybe you are the one to help Panache a step further as a competition player? You are very welcome!
Panache Tournament
The most important event of the year is the Panache Tournament, that celebrated its 40 year anniversary in 2005 with 200 participants from everywhere in the Netherlands. The ToKo (Toernooi Kommissie, `tournament commision') will start in November of every year to start organising this great event. We can always use enthusiastic new members for this commision. The ToKo is a nice and pleasant activity next to playing badminton. There a several ways to develop yourselve on other areas than badminton within Panache.
Activities
Next to badminton, a lot of other activities take place within Panache. The PAK (Panache Aktiviteiten Kommissie, `Panache activities commission') organises activities such as bowling, laserquest, climbing, pubtours and every year the big Panache barbeque! Also Panache participates in the Batavierenrace (together with Okawa) and the Van Lint Students Sports week. If you become a member of Panache you will be kept updated with information about activities in the mini P'ette, the Panache `newspaper'; made by the PaMPeR (Panache Mini P'ette Redaction).
As you read, Panache is more than just a badminton club. We invite you to check this out for your self on a Monday or Thursday training!
