Panache, more than just a game!
13-08-2010 - As you probably have noticed, you've arrived on the website of Panache. You might have met us during the introtraining, you might just be curious, in both cases, you've come to the right place! Panache has about 100 members and play badminton at the sports center every monday and thursday from 8 to 11pm. The playing level at Panache varies from campsite prodigy's to stars in the Premier Devision, so we offer anything you want.
Panache in short:

On monday's and thusday's at 8pm, the board (recognizable in the orange shirts) can give you all the information you want. Rackets and shuttles can be borrowed the first time.
Looking for a new board!
11-08-2010 - In November the board will stop doing there jobs, so we are looking for new enthousiastic people who wants to be the new board! Do you think that you are able to be the boss of a club and have a fantastic year? Do you want to meat all the Panache member? Being invited to the coolest party's of Eindhoven? Wanna play recreation competition?
20-06-2010 - Dear Panache Member!
Next season there will be another recreation competition. What is the recreation competition? The recreation competition is for players who wants to play against players from other clubs. They play their matches during the week (not in the weekends) at different levels. Teams can play in the levels Z (beginners), Y2, Y1 (recreation players), X2, X1 (advanced recreation players) and H (men's). You will play 14 matches during the season. 7 of them are played at thursdaynight in the SSC, 7 will be at you opponent's sportshall. In a team there will be at least 2 men and 2 woman. (4 men at a men's team). With these players you play a men's double, woman's double, 2 men singles, 2 woman singles and 2 mixed doubles. Are you interested or you have any questions? Recreation team wins again and are the champions!!
16-06-2010 - Last night the recreation team (Remco, Maarten, Martin, Louise, Yvette, Maarit) played their last match. After the last match they were already champions, but they wanted to win everything so Maarten, Martin, Louise and Maarit drove to Hilvarenbeek.
We started with the doubles. The ladies played not very well in the first set but in the second they were unbeatable. They won. The men played well in the first set but after that they stopped playing well. They lost. 1-1.
We started with the mixed doubles. Louise and Maarten played really well and won the second mixed doubles. Martin and Maarit had a very weird opponent. Everything you do normally in a mixed double was wrong now, and everything you shouldn't do was perfect. They won in the 3rd set.
After that Louise and Maarten started with the 2nd singles. Louise had to work really hard, but she won in the third set:) Maarten had a really good opponent and lost. With a score of 4-2, it was up to Martin and Maarit to win the first singles and win the last match. Maarit won after a very exciting match. Off course, Martin played a third set, but with good playing, he won! So the score was 6-2:)
After that, we went to the cantine to eat the cake that Maarit had baked, because the team is the champion! From the board they get a nice bottle LaChoufffe. See you next year!
A lot of first places for Panache Players!
08-06-2010 - Last weekend (4,5 and 6 june), there were 2 tournaments. On 4 and 5 june there was the GNSK at Enschede and at 5 and 6 june there was the Pip tournament at Berkel en Rodenrijs. Representing Eindhoven at the GNSK were Eli Mambwe, Nick Smaling, Sietse Jak, Sandra Nijenstein and Mirthe van Lieshout. They won their first match with 7-1! After more good matches they become first!! At saturday, the team had to play without Sietse, because he went to Berkel en Rodenrijs to play a different tournament with Maarit. In a really warm hall (32 degrees) they had tot play the final of the mixed double C. In this finale they won with 21-17, 21-8!
Mondag the 24th of May no badminton
21-05-2010 - Due to Pentecost Monday there will be no badminton on Monday. The Students Sport Centre will be closed.
Thursday the 13th no badminton
11-05-2010 - Due to Ascension Day there will be no training on Thursday. The Students Sport Centre will be closed the 13th and 14th of May.
Racketlon the 22nd of april a success!
23-04-2010 - Thursday the 22nd of april, the racketlon was held. This is an event where each contestant plays table tennis,squash, tennis and badminton. A whopping 40 contestants joined up for this event.
Every sport could be played evenly, some in doubles and others in singles. Everything went remarkably smooth, and the afterparty in the paviljoen was also nice.
Organisation, thank you! Hope the event will be held again next year.
Racketlon the 22nd of april!
18-04-2010 - The 22nd of april the racketlon will be held! In a racketlon, matches will be played of the following sports: tennis, badminton, table tennis and squash. The board has already informed about this event, and we hope lots of you will register or have already registered for the event!

Badminton in hal 2 tomorrow!
31-03-2010 - Because of the NSK Stef Stuntpiloot there will be no badminton in hall 3 tomorrow. Instead of that we play from 20.00 till 21.30 in one part of hall 2. From 21.30 till 23.00 we have the whole hall 2.
Recreation team keeps winning!
25-03-2010 - Tuesday 23 March went Maarten, Martin, Louise and Maarit to Berkel-Enschot to play a recreation match. Martin and Maarten played and won the men's doubles without any problems. Louise and Maarit had some problems in the ladies doubles but they won in 3 sets. The first mix (Martin and Maarit) was lost in 2 sets. The second mix (Maarten and Louise) was easily won. After all this doubles we were playing the singles on 4 courts. Maarten played a short match. He lost in 2 sets. (MS1). Maarit was the second one who finished the match. (LS1) She won in 2 sets. Martin (MS2) and Louise (LS2) had to play a third set. Martin won and Louise lost. So the recreationteam won closely with 5-3:) We are (almost) the champions!:)
Free Bata Training (Running)!
17-03-2010 - Panache will participate in the batavierenrace this year in a team together with Nayade, Don Quishoot, Taveres and Isis. Because we want to run a good time we have to train. Every Tuesday there will be the opportunity to train. The training will start at the entree of the SSC and the trainer will be Koen de Haan. Every member of Panache is welcome to join the training!
